A few newb questions

  • I’m just getting started with WP-invoice. A few questions:

    1) I have selected “use custom templates” in settings > main and installed the wpi folder and custom templates. But I don’t see that it has made any changes anywhere. I assumed that these are different layout options for the display of invoices on the web page. Am I wrong?

    2) I uploaded a logo but I don’t see that it is beiong displayed anywhere, either in the email or on the website page that displays the invoice.

    3) What file needs to be modified to make the invoice due date display as m/d/y instead of d/m/y?

    4) What file needs to be modified to change the h3 wpi greeting text that reads “WELCOME, JOHN SMITH!”? And can I change it to display just the first name?

    Let me answer your questions:

    1. Yes, you should be able to use your custom templates. Make sure that this option is checked off: https://prntscr.com/ca755l

    2. Did you insert the logo here? https://prntscr.com/ca6g3k

    3. When you create a new invoice, go to the right side of the screen where you will see Toggle, click on Toggle, there you will see the due date which starts with month/day/year.

    4. When you create a user you will need to insert first and last name, if you do not put in customers’ last name, the invoice will be sent with first name only.
