I found your amazing plugin and am looking to use it for a small employee directory. I was wondering:

    1. Is there a way to make the database info searchable with the site search?

    2. Is there a way to search for participant info that isn’t displayed on the table? Our table will show things like name, email, and phone, but we want to be able to search for something like skills or degree.

    3. Is there a widget in the works? Something that would display a few records and have a search bar.

    4. Would there be a way to display people with birthdays from today’s date through the next week?

    Thanks.

Several of these things the plugin can’t do without some custom code. The plugin is designed to be extensible, but it does require some coding ability to take advantage of it.

    1. no, the plugin records are separate from the “posts” that site-wide searches look in. If you really need this, you should look for a plugin that adds your listings (whatever they are) as “custom post types”

    2. yes, but you need to set up a custom template. This is normally not allowed for security reasons.

    3. you can do this with the “list” shortcode, you can determine how many records, add a search field, etc. You will probably need to build a custom template for it if you’re trying to put that into a sidebar or something like that. Also, you’ll need a plugin that adds a “shortcode widget”.

    4. yes, but some coding knowledge will be needed to set up the list display with a dynamic filter.
