    Hello Ascend-Team,

    thank you for this wonderful theme. I have a few questions that I was wondering if you could help me with. The demo 1, which option is used for the home page header? Basic slider and Forced Fullwidth images?

    And then, is it possible to set a background image for header AND page title for the other pages in the same way as the forced full width images? So not separate images for header and title, but one for both?

    Slider: I tried using this shortcode [gallery ids="43" type="slider" columns="1" fullscreen="true" ] but it did not go fullscreen. Are therE no fullscreen sliders included?

    And last, I have installed the Toolkit plugin which is supposed to have a contact form page, but when I create a new page there is only blog, portfolio and standard template.

    2. I’m not sure that I understand this question. Can you link to an example image that you’re wanting to change so I can be sure of what you’re referring to? Try going to Theme Options> Transparent Header Options, and enable the transparent header. does that work for you?

    3. That shortcode isn’t compatible with the theme. There are no options for fullwidth sliders in the free version of the theme. Where did you find the shortcode?

    4. Where are you seeing the contact form for Ascend Free in the documentation? As far as I know, there is no contact form feature of the free theme. You can easily make your own by following this tutorial though:

    thank you for your fast reply!

    So regarding the header layout: What I would like is to have transparent header on all pages and also fullwidth images for header and page title. You can see this here for example:

    If you click on a regular page like About Us, you can see a fullwidth image for the header AND title. With Ascend I was only able to do this for the home page.

    And regarding the shortcode: I had found this in the Ascend docs, but I am thinking it might have been the premium docs that I was reading! However, the contact.page template is supposed to be in the toolkit plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/virtue-toolkit/

    1. You can assign the image in Theme Options> Default Title Options. You can’t assign a different image for each page in the free theme, but this is an option in Ascend Premium.

    2. Ah that’s referring to the other themes. With Ascend, it’s not included since the contact form 7 plugin is much more flexible and pretty easy to configure. I’ll send this to the theme developer just to get a confirmation on this though.

    2. I can confirm the free theme doesn’t have a built-in contact form and the toolkit doesn’t add one for ascend.

    Basically, www.ads-software.com changed rules from when we launched virtue to ascend. Themes used to be able to include then they were not allowed. The contact forms were then moved to the toolkit to keep backward compatibility. But with ascend we decided to encourage the use of a contact form plugin if one was needed rather then create that into the toolkit.
