• I have a few questions that aren’t clear about the functionality of this plugin Im hoping the developer or users can help me with.

    1) If I’m placing any none essential function cookies or pixels such as from facebook ads eg that are used for tracking such as google analytics if I place the code in the script blocking will it only place the cookies on their machine and run the scripts once they click on accept?

    2) Theres an option for cookie expiry would that also affect google analytics as there is options for the storage duration in there google analytics settings.

    3) Can this plugin also work for pixels or are you aware of any that does something similar with acceptance of pixels?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

    1. Yes, it will block those scripts ( and it will therefor not place any cookies that belong to that script ) UNTIl they hit the accept button.

    2. Yes, I use it ( amongst others ) for Facebook pixels too and works fine.
You can check it with the Google chrome extention: Facebook Pixel helper.

Can you please provide a complete script to do such a task?

That would help us a lot creating scripts for all the non-essential cookies that we want to put on hold until people ACCEPT them.

    Many thanks,
    I.
