Bad Request and dead thumbnails

  • When I put the full URL to the youtube channel I am trying to get it throws this error where the gallery should appear:

    Message from server: Bad Request. Check in YouTube if the id https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBcqQGNwcSEwlv6gJXP-U9A belongs to a user. To locate the id of your user check the FAQ of the plugin.

    However, if I shorten the URL to just the id code on the end, the gallery will appear. It will play the main video, but none of the thumbnail videos will play.

    I am not really blaming the plugin. I am using a custom theme and I have a feeling that the problem may reside there. But it would be great to get some clues on where to start looking. This is the best plugin for me, there seem to be no real alternatives, so I want to use it. Thank you!
