A Game Changer for Web Accessibility Testing

FIrst off, I am not a fan of the phrase “Game Changer,” but this plugin is… a game changer!

As someone who is now committed to ensuring our (mine and our clients) websites are accessible to all users, the Accessibility Checker plugin for has been a standout addition to our toolkit, and it’s truly deserving of a five-star review.

The plugin’s thoroughness is impressive; it doesn’t just skim the surface but goes deep into the website, checking each element against established accessibility standards. What sets it apart is how detailed the analysis is. It identifies every potential accessibility violation, which has been an eye-opener for our team (nothing like seeing a site hF 8,357 VIOLATIONS to wake you up!)

The detailed reports include specific violations and, importantly, offer clear, suggestions on how to correct these issues. This feature is invaluable as it not only points out what is wrong but also shows you on how to fix it (by the way, fixing one issue can easily correct 100s of issues in one shot!)

I’ve decided that this plugin will be used for testing all our clients’ websites.
