A good plugin, a responsive support, a bit misleading settings

I used this plugin for importing data, and then integrate that data into a custom automatically generated page. Most of the plugin’s functionalities were exactly what I needed.
For extra help with them, the support team was responsive and helful.

However, I find misleadding the settings regarding the Limit feed items stored per feed, respectively on each feed source.
I thought that this limit is used to keep only the latest X imported items for each feed. By setting this limit, I could store feeds items for the last, let’s say, 4 days, since I needed to have feeds items for the last couple of days.
But that’s not the case, because “When the feed items are being imported, our plugin will check for the presence of the same previously imported items regardless of when they were imported.”, as I was told.
Also, I’ve been told that they’ll consider analysing this functionality change, and perhaps include it on future plugin updates.
