A great plugin that just falls short
-
This is a great plugin.
But it has two shortcomings that I can see that stop it from being perfect.
I would have loved to see:
– No internal links in the “top links” list,
– And the ability to customize date ranges on data/plots.As it is, links internal to my site clog up the “top links” list, so that I can’t see any but the most prolific external links. It’s important for me to see the lesser trafficked external links so that I know what other link sources I can potentially beef up to increase site traffic.
Also, all data collected that’s over a month old becomes hidden, which is to say useless. This is regardless of the length of time that data is set to be stored for. So the data is there, somewhere, but you just can’t see it.
Speaking of data that cant be see, a bit of extra detail (numbers) in the “Top …” lists wouldn’t go astray… I know it’s a lightweight plugin, but the data’s there, it just needs to be displayed.
Two (three) very minor improvement’s to what is otherwise a perfect insights plugin, but, sadly, the two shortcomings first mentioned have me on the hunt for a new statistics plugin.
