A header that work in FF but not IE8!

    I hope someone can help out there as I am tearing my heir out over this one!

    I have customised the header of my wordpress blog at https://www.zealpilates.co.uk/news/

    When viewed in firefox it appears the same as the main site – https://www.zealpilates.co.uk, with hover enabled and nice purple boxes

    The main site also displays nicely in IE8 but not the news section – try it for yourself – very strange!

    I have included a custom stylesheet styleWP.css in the header.php which basically just contains the following:
