• Simple to install and use. Avoids overloading your own hosting server. I use it with Flickr on Win 10, FF, Chrome and Brave. One thing to note, another plugin called Plugin Organiser conflicts with Photonic. I had to delete Plugin Organiser for Photonic to display the images.

    Thanks for your comments.

I have never used “Plugin Organizer”, so I am not sure of what exact conflicts it causes, but I can hazard a guess. Photonic is optimized within itself – the JS loads itself on pages with Photonic galleries, and it conditionally loads versions optimized for individual browsers (i.e. it loads larger, compatible code if the browser is IE 11 or older, and less code if the browser is new). If a different plugin tries to tinker with such behaviour, it leads to undesirable results. To wit, the notes for “Plugin Organizer” say: “WARNING: Reordering or disabling plugins can have catastrophic affects on your site. It can cause issues with plugins and can render your site inaccessible.”
