a list of an event posts

Yes. Our plugin has the ability to order posts by meta value. So you just need to figure out the meta field name that is used for saving event date.

But you can not feature any particular event with the plugin. There’s just one templating option, which is applied to for all of the item regardless of it’s position or id number.

I am following this post as I am trying to figure the Events Manager meta field for event start date so I can list events chronologically

It is apparently: event_start_date

but when when I enter this value into the Orderby: Meta vlaue: meta key field in the list builder it cause my events list to return empty in front end

OK, when you go to your event edit page, and enables “Custom Field” metabox, do you see a custom field there with name ‘event_start_date’ ? Most of the plugin use a underscore before field name, you can try using – ‘_event_start_date’ on the orderby and test.

No, The Events plugin is not using a custom field for event_start_date

that is a native event filed for Events, built into the Events Manager plugin

I simply want to use that field as a way to order the custom posts list I am creating with your plugin

I can see in my database that the Events plugin has a field called ‘event_start_date’ in its events table

I am trying to query that field that use it to order my events in your screen where a post list is designed
