A Little Categories Mystery

    Hija,

    I’ve a little mystery which I hope one off you can clarify and help me out with.
    In my blog https://www.seacloudies.com you can see a category named Ships profile and sails. Here I posted a post with an image (you can see her when you visit the blog) yet the image doesn’t show up in the gategory and I would like this to do so. It’s an post and catagory where the comments possibily is removed cause it’s just a post with a link to an image url.
    I’ve tried to insert an <img scr> in the category discription but this just removes the category from the main page. Is there a way to show my image when you click on the category?

  • No mystery there. Usually in blogs the “archive view” – which includes monthly archives and category archives – is displayed by the archive.php template file. Again, usually that template files uses the_excerpt and not the_content tag.

    Sorry for late reply, and thnx Moshu.

    Tried reading the link you’ve posted, eighter my head is not screwed on correctly or I’m just tired, it was all abacadabra for me…Shall have a look at it at later time, in the meanwhile I just made a subpage and posted the image there.
