a little confusing

  • I find this plugin a little confusing. I don’t know at which point photos are being smushed –?when I upload them or when I insert them in a post or when I go to the widget itself and run the ‘smush’? But I guess it does what it needs to at some point or another so it’s fine with me.

    Hello @hopefulhanna ,

    Thank you for your review and your feedback.

    Images are optimized when they are smushed. But when it is done, depends on the options you have selected.
    If you selected option Automatic compression then images will be smushed during the upload.
    Images present in Media Library need to be smushed with Bulk smush or using Smush button in the Media Library.
    Images are not smushed when they are inserted into the post.
