a lost newbie

I’m trying very hard to limit the people that get to see my wholesale site. i thought this would be a good plug in. it is installed, but in my tests the viewers can still go to the side bar and shop and get into the site.

is this plug in designed to keep everybody out of the entire site unless i approve them?

in my wp settings, i have set all new users to be unapproved. what am i doing wrong?
