Hi, I was testing out the “Link” feature in the plugin, and after I turned in on and off, I started to get a ton of incomplete payments in Stripe. It seems Paymentplugins now initiate a Payment session for every visit on the checkout. Is this expected behaviour?

Also noticed that the form design was changed

    Hi @cheechee1

Make sure you’re using the latest version of the plugin. In older versions the payment intent was created on checkout page load because of how Stripe’s API worked. But Stripe adjusted their API recently and so we updated that code several versions ago.

    Kind regards

Hey, it happens to us as well and we run the latest versions, especially paypal.

@cheechee1 The form design changes because only the Stripe Payment Form is compatible with Link and it’s full set of features.

This plugin is for Stripe only. If you’re seeing incomplete PayPal payments you should reach out to the support of your PayPal plugin. An incomplete payment can also mean that your customer abandoned the cart.
