Hello, I have few pages and got same problems on each.
Autoptimize got a lot of php errors and this is huge problem when you got huge website. After few days I got few GB of php errors logs because of autoptimize.
The problem has always been here, I was counting on some fixes a few months ago, but nothing has changed in this matter.
Frequently recurring errors:

well, AO 2.6 is very close to release, would be great if you could download that here to check if those errors indeed are no more? if errors remain I’ll be happy to get those fixed in time for the 2.6 release ??

OK, the first one should be fixed with this commit, easiest will be to re-download the beta-zip and overwrite the current beta-directory.

The 2nd one is theoretically impossible; the empty needle mentioned is AUTOPTIMIZE_CACHEFILE_PREFIX, a constant that is automatically set in autoptimizeMain.php at setup-action. Pretty much clueless what might be the issue there I’m afraid :-/

Ok great errors now gone. I got defined empty AUTOPTIMIZE_CACHEFILE_PREFIX in wp-config, now replaced it with custom text and it works.
