A nice set of options

  • This plugin offers a large set of options for what gets deleted from the data base, as well as being able to optimize, check, and repair all in one step.

    If a scheduler (which is included in the Ultra edition) and an option to set the number of post revisions to keep were included here, it would be the perfect choice.

    WordPress actually already has a system to control the number of saved revisions, however there is not a simple configuration option, rather you can define a constant called WP_POST_REVISIONS and set it to a specific number of posts/pages to keep.

    We have added a revision control tab to the plugin which should make the setting much easier to adjust. You can upgrade to the latest version if you would like to use the new feature.
