    I received a message from Google and it said they cant locate the page on my site called https:/www.policecrimes.com/police.html

    I have made no such page called .com/police.html – where is google finding this page on my site, if I didn’t make it?

    Where can I find that page on my site?

    I tried to make the page “.com/police.html” but when I did the URL says .com/police-2/

    So there’s a .com/police.html somewhere, but where?

    It also comes up [ redundant link removed ]

  • Hi, @maybandy!

    If I open https://policecrimes.com/police.html I can see a page with some content.

    Looking at the metadata I can see that it was published on 2022-02-02T09:06:44+00:00"

    <meta property="article:published_time" content="2022-02-02T09:06:44+00:00" />

    Could you have a look at your post and pages dashboards?

    The only page I made on 02.02.2022 was .police.html and it automatically made the page police-(2).html , which means police.html was already made prior.

    If you go to the page now it now show a “site map” of my whole website.

    I have made no post and have less than 20 pages on my site and I went through all of them and there was no police.html to be found.

    Why is there a site map on that page now?

    UPDATE:

    When I go to the URL policecrimes.com/police.html and try to edit the page, I get this error message: “You attempted to edit an item that doesn’t exist. Perhaps it was deleted?”

    So if the page doesn’t exist, why is wordpress showing it in a URL?
