  • If a child page appears in two different areas, one without a parent page and the second with a parent page. The reason is might the child page have been assigned to multiple parent pages or menu items.

To remove a child page that appears without a parent page in WordPress, you can follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Go to “Pages” in the left-hand menu and find the child page you want to remove.
    3. Hover over the child page and click “Quick Edit.”
    4. Check the parent page that is selected and click “Update.”
    5. Refresh the page and confirm that the child page is associated with that particular parent page.

The menu is designed to be independent of the parent-child relationship of pages, allowing you to easily reorder your menu without disrupting the relationships of your pages.

I hope it solves your problem.

If the issue doesn’t solve, you can also redirect the old URL to the new URL.

@clayp I checked to make sure the page is under the right parent, but it still shows up in both links that I provided on my previous post. It’s really weird.

Does no one else has this type of issues happening to their WordPress site?
