• This plugin is designed to work with a specific theme, which makes me wonder why the developers at SiteOrigin didn’t build this functionality into the theme itself. (I’m not a WordPress developer, so perhaps there are variables I’m not considering.)

That said, I’m using both the Focus theme and this Focus Videos plugin, and they’re a great complement, allowing me to prominently feature videos throughout my site.

  • Hi @kgagne

Thanks for your support and feedback.

Unfortunately, Focus Videos stores content so it doesn’t meet theme guidelines for the www.ads-software.com directory, this is the reason it wasn’t bundled. In the past, we’ve asked users to install it from our own server. We’ve recently improved Focus and needed to make changes to the videos plugin to compliment those changes. The changes are outlined here: https://siteorigin.com/flexible-video-content-focus/. To push these new changes to everyone with the plugin already installed, we decided to list it on the directory.

All the best with your site, I’m glad to hear Focus has been working out ??
