a plugin to show “post-updated” dates?

    Some of my posts (like the category “recipes”) gets updated when new products come out for the allergen-sensitive community. How can I edit an old “recipe A” post to show an edited date, and go back to the “front” of the loop?

    I cannot just erase the old and re-write because of the permalinks.

    Is there anything out there that will do this for me?

    Yes, but dated recipes are still needed for my purposes.

    So I have taken to dating each entry IN the entry, adding posts in a series to accommodate some types of recipes, and added some pages to keep information up to date.

    A challenge will be to have some sort of visual distinction or blockquote type stuff to make the older post look older! All the information is needed by readers, but some readers/ novices would like to see the best/ most recent first. I haven’t put my mind around that one yet…
