• I published this post today:

    https://blog.twedt.com/archives/1545

When I published it, it didn’t show up in the recent posts widget and didn’t show up in my theme’s slider. I went back to edit the post and noticed the publishing date was December of 2011! So, I changed the publish status back to Draft and manually entered today’s date (9/27/12) along with 22:10, then republished. Even though that was the exact time, the post now showed as “Scheduled for 9/27/12). Just to be sure, I edited it again, changing the publishing time to 21:10, and it still showed as scheduled. I called my web hosting company and verified that their server’s internal clock has the correct date/time (and my computer does too).

The very fact that you readers can view the post above is weird, because currently the post is supposedly only “scheduled”, not “publsihed”, and yet the permalink works! (The only reason I found out is because when I was on hold waiting for my web hosting company to answer, I checked my “Who’s Been Online” plugin and noticed a bunch of visitors suddenly starting to read this post…)

If I go into the “Posts” section of the Dashboard, it does not show up as published – it’s in the Scheduled section.

Your help will be much appreciated!
