A powerhouse

  • This plugin (especially the Pro version) is a powerhouse when it comes to WordPress optimization. I use it all the time and I recommend it to everyone.

    Especially since the last PageSpeed Insights update (Lighthouse 6) which made things such as minify and combine basically useless and is all about removing clutter (unused JS and CSS) and removing render blocking resources (JS defer and async CSS).

    The only option I missed, is the option to automatically replace an externally hosted file with a local version. So I built my own plugin for that. ??

    If you consider this within the scope of your product (maybe the pro version?) you’re more than welcome to ‘borrow’ the code ?? It’s called Host Everything Local and you can find it right here in the WordPress repo.
