A product is missing a field

    I have WooCommerce 4.9.0, and Facebook for WooCommerce 2.2.0 installed with WordPress Version 5.5.3

    I have an issue in the FB Catalog. In FB Catalog it shows warning regarding variant_value and variant_label is missing.

    A product is missing a field: variant_value
    A product is missing a field: variant_label

    I have searched and found that variant_value and variant_label fields are required for Variable Products not for Simple Products.

    Is there any fix for this issue yet?

    Hi @chintanmakwana,

    If it’s a variable product which you received this message for have you looked at your Variable product on your WooCommerce store and made sure that the variations you’re trying to sync to Facebook have a title and a value.

    Simple products would not have a variant_value or variant_label and if that is displaying for a simple product it could be that Facebook is somehow mistakenly detecting that as a variable product.

    If you know the exact product on your site Facebook is looking for the variant_value and variant_label fields you could try either resetting the Facebook metadata or deleting the product Facebook and trying to resync that product.
