A question about permalinks/redirects

Hi all,

I’m running a plugin called Advanced Permalinks which promises 301 redirects for permalink migrations, which my client currently has three of. The plugin tells me; “Here you can specify old permalink structures which will be redirected (301) to your existing permalink structure.”, but when I look at the HTTP headers it’s clearly a 302 redirect… not so friendly to search engines.

How could I go about finding where/why this is happening? Is this a known bug with WordPress or redirect plugins in general?

Any advice appreciated.
