• I have been a critic of the WordPress way of curating the GPL plugins in their repository but I could never have imagined in my wildest dreams how they could take a bad situation and make worse.

    But with 4.0 thats just what they did. They missed almost every single opportunity they had ~ in spite of their unparalleled access to the repository ~ to improve it for the end-user. It seems they simply didn’t bother. Not ‘sexy’ enough, I suppose.

    This plugin of yours David goes a long way to change things. I look forward to seeing improvements over the coming months like a working rating system, and a way of searching that excludes all the abandoned, out-of-date, ‘not tested with my WP version’ plugins lurking in the repository, I don’t want to waste time with.

    Great job. More of it please.
