A real space saver

  • A client website had been rebuilt three or four times without the unused media files deleting. The server was starting to run out of space and the website was running very poorly.

    I installed Media Cleaner, ran a scan and it detected so many images, PDFs and video files that were no longer in use.

    I made sure I’d made a backup before deleting them and so far there’s not been any problems of missing files, the site is running loads better and the disk usage is a third of what it was!
