• I asked GoDaddy to change a new website (non-Wordpress) onto my main domain and my WP site onto a subdomain….

They Changed my A Record to point to my new (non-WP) website, but didnt create my subdomain or use that for my WP site!

I now can’t seem to access my WP site when I go to the login page of both WP.org and WP.com (just in case) with the correct credentials…

Any ideas how to fix this or login to WP?

My domain is [ redundant link removed ]

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this account contains 7 years of data and comments, emails etc.

  • What’s the URL of your sub-domain WordPress site? You only gave the main domain, which is the non-WordPress site.

Unfortunately, this is an account-related issue, and there’s not much we can do here to help you.

Here’s GoDaddy’s support article on how to add an A-record to your domain in their DNS manager: https://uk.godaddy.com/help/add-an-a-record-19238

If that doesn’t help, please contact GoDaddy. They’re the only ones who can help you with account-related issues.

The subdomain doesn’t exist yet as that was the issue, they didnt do what I requested which was set up the subdomain and transfer my WP site to there…
