    Hi all,
how to make a SINGLE page homepage?

    I’d expect that from selecting:
Your homepage displays > A static page (select below)
but no, that gives a scroll bunch of OTHER pages on the homepage (A HOMEPAGE SECTION, ABOUT, BLOG etc).

So the question is how to get rid of these extra pages and get a SINGLE page homepage.
    Thanks for any input.

  • In the Customizer, go to Theme Options. Do you have pages listed there in the “Front Page Section”s? If so, delete them. Then you will have the single page for your home page.

Done but the homepage still shows ABOUT and CONTACT pages. The best part is the pages are deleted in the TRASH long ago. Cleaned the trash – still got 2 extra placeholders on the homepage.

Something is cached somewhere, I would say. Try looking at it with the Inspector (Chrome or Firefox), that might clear the cache for you, but do check the settings of the Inspector. Then check the settings of your host and, if you have a cache plugin, you need to clear it.

Thanks, but I switched to a single page theme. The 2017 appears to be too busy for my purposes.
