• Hey.

https://www.stenbergare.se is my (my family’s webpage). And we want to have the home page “Hem” to have first a very short introduction to the webpage, and the village we are all from. Below that, we want the posts to appear, like kind of news posts that we post there. Also, we want the “Hem” in the left sidebar to link right back to the starting page.

I suppose we could use a sticky post as the introduction of the webpage, but I don’t want people to be able to comment on the introduction post, only the “news” posts, nor do I want it in some kind of category, or a date for the post. Basically, kind of like a page, but with the posts appearing under the content of the page. But I do not know how to make posts appear under the content of a page… nor do I know how I would get this webpage to be displayed as only “https://stenbergare.se” instead of “https://stenbergare.se/hem”.

    Appreciating any help.

Oh, the left sidebar contains the built-in widget “Pages”, so if I would just use the postpage with a sticky post in the beginning as introduction, then the “Hem” (Home) link wouldn’t appear there. We don’t NEED the link there, but it would be nice.

I could fix that with just adding a text box with the html code to the links I suppose, but I would want the code to be the same as the built-in theme code, so it would match.

Once again, thankful for any help.

Same as the built-in theme code as in so the graphics would be the same, just to clear things up.

Why not just edit the theme and add the text you want to it directly?

Oh, didn’t know I could edit the theme directly. But I went to look through the theme editor.. and I didn’t understand anything. Sorry. Where exactly should I be looking if I wanted to edit the stuff I’ve asked about?

Sorry, accidently doubleposted, editing away the second post.
