A Suggestion to Improve this Forum

Hello everyone.

mods: I don’t know if this belongs here or not. it’s the best fit I could find. Please delete if needed.

Now, I will keep this short.

Sometimes I notice a chain of spam posts appear on this forum. It’s usually 30-40 separate posts all within a 10 minute time frame.

Wouldn’t setting a daily limit on topic creation per user solve the issue? No reasonable user would need to create more than 2-3 topics on any given day and if they actually do need to have that many questions answered, then they can combine and organize their requests into one post.

Yeah, we see the spam, and we feed it to a service that helps us detect and block it. What you see is just what we don’t detect immediately and instantly. Currently, detection and blocking is way over what makes it through.

So, we’re good. The spam doesn’t last long here. ??
