    Hi Todor,

    Thanks for reaching out.

This might be connected to the browser in use. Can you please let me know which browser and version you’re using right now?
I was unable to reproduce the behavior using Chrome and Firefox.

    Best regards,
    Henning

    Hi there, Henning!

Thanks for your feedback. I have made some additional tests with browsers etc and have a new information. The problem is active only when I am looking at the website logged in. When I log out, there is no such text box.

So, basically this is not a huge problem as far as the visitors cannot see the text box. It would be nice to fix it in the future, though, if possible.

    Regards,

    Todor

i wanted to create a ticket but seems im experiencing the same problem. Its seems to be the ad Placement title its contains Placement Names and all the Ad Names. I haven’t tested when not logged in but thought the internal ad names are being leaked to visitors but if its only for logged in users its like OP said not such a big deal. It definitely scared me because I thought ad names are internal only and it could leak private information if using identifying details in ad names.

I haven’t noticed this before must be as results of recent update.

    Hi there,

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Can you please try if checking the box for “Disable Ad Health and other notices” under Advanced Ads > Settings > General > Admin changes the behavior?

    Best regards,
    Henning

Regretfully, checking “Disable Ad Health in frontend and backend, warnings and internal notices like tips, tutorials, email newsletters and update notices” does not help.

    Hi Todor, Hi kbyzanet

actually, the described issue: “showing the ad and placement name while hovering over the ad in the frontend” is the wanted behavior. This only happens while you’re logged in and was included into Advanced Ads to help publishers to identify the ad units directly.

I’ll take your feedback and the general confusion about this to include further adjustments to the behavior. Please watch out for this change in a future release of Advanced Ads.

If you have further questions regarding Advanced Ads, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me again.

    Best regards,
    Henning

    Thanks, Henning! I understand.

To be honest, I personally would prefer to somehow switch this text off in order to have a more simplistic view as before, but it is not a big deal, after all…
