• This plugin is a disaster. I have been advertising my site in Adwords and got people registering until I realized that this plugin wouldn’t work, even after updating it to the latest 4.0.0.5 version. People were registered granted with free access but in fact had no access! In my attempt to fix the problem I just made things worse and had to interrupt the advertising and shut the whole thing down until I restore my site to a previous point. This plugin is like a drug using it to heal yourself but in the end you end up dead faster. Totally broke my nerves

    Sorry to hear you ran into issues ?? were you using the “Default” membership type? That one allows you to easily control the access of users who don’t select a membership at sign up. Or were they selecting a membership but it wasn’t giving them proper access?

    This is one of my threads, my friend, proving that I was using your plugin since the 4.0.0.1 version:

    I was using default, standard and a third membership type that I can’t remember right now. I liked the plugin, I used it for weeks without errors but your updates destroyed its previous functionality. As I ‘ve said in one of my threads you should not publish something that is not tested to work properly. I would even buy it if it was guaranteed 100% to work well. I am using another plugin now, instead, for which I’m not that excited but at least it’s doing the job correctly and I don’t need to report bugs.

    Sorry I didn’t mean for that to sound like I didn’t believe you were using earlier versions as well – if it did. Thanks for sharing that thread – that issue should have actually been fixed in the latest version of the plugin. Was it still happening to you? Or was it just the access issue you saw? Definitely keen to find out was the issue was exactly so we can make sure it doesn’t happen to others.
