There’s a troll downvoting every single post I publish, and my blog is still growing. I publish a post, 1 or 2 days later this person comes and give my post 1 star, and this is really pissing me off because it’s a commercial blog. Only yesterday I found out there’s a way to track users by IP, but still there’s no option to block users by IP, being able to block users by IP would be a way to fight this abuse. I don’t mean blocking them in the entire website, I mean blocking their ability to vote.

I’m opening this post not only to report this type of abuse, but I also need to know which mysql tables can I edit to fix this bad rating. Can you tell me please?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @mikelimit9999,

Why don’t you simply block the IP address on the server level? You can change rating in the post editor at the bottom of each post (meta box).

Blocking the IP won’t fix the 30+ posts this person downvoted. Ok, I got the rating part.
