• Dear WordPress community!

I have never installed an ssl certificate before!

    I downloaded ( openssl-0.9.8k_X64 ) and created ( mykey.pem )

This far so good. But when i go to install wordpress on “ampps” on an SSL activated site and i Choose Protocol https://
i get error “A trusted SSL Certificate was not found”

I copied the openssl folder to:

    C:
    D:
    D:\Program Files (x86)\Ampps
    D:\Program Files (x86)\Ampps\www
    D:\Program Files (x86)\Ampps\www\www.url.com

    Does not detect it!

Any of you installed OpenSSL on ampps that could shed some light?

  • This is not a WordPress Problem, it’s an OpenSSL problem.

You may have installed it but you still need to go create your certificate….if you have questions or trouble with that, post at openSSL.

its wordpress in ampps and apparently brings openssl installed.
But after checking the v host file its still not working. I am waiting feedback from ampps.
