A value for name field required error in SDTT

    Hi I originally had 4 errors on each of my blog posts on the following
    A value for image field is required (had 3 of these on each post and now fixed)
    I now have one error
    A value for name field is required . Below is the details and as you can see there is a name so does anyone know how to fix this . Many thanks for any help

The left hand side of SDTT report has this highlighted

  • You should ask in the support forum for whatever plugin you are using for this.

    Hi Joy many thanks for your reply Not sure what you mean by plugins

    Here is a list I am using

    Akismet Anti-Spam
    Amp Autoptmize
    Bing Verification
    Call now button
    Contact 7 form
    Disable comments
    Glue for yoast
    Smush
    Wordfence security
    WP google maps
    WP performance score booster
    WP super cache
    Yoast

    Whatever SDTT is (Structured Data something?) is not done by WordPress. So it’s either a theme or a plugin.

    Hi again Joy many thanks for getting back to me and yes the error is highlighted in googles Structured Data Testing Tool. Basically I had 3 Value for image field is required errors and one A value For name field is required.

    Google SDTT just tells you you have the error but not how to fix it plus when I google the problem I get the results for the image error that I have now fixed.

    The reason I posted here was one of my searches said it could be a Theme problem.

    Hi doing some digging and this error seems to be a bug with Yoast saying it could be resolved in 11.6
