Hi, desperately trying to create a new feed (using the most upto date version) and evertime Im about to complete the process I get the error:
“A variable mismatch has been detected.”
Very unhelpful error as I have no information whatsover where I should be looking or exactly what is wrong.

Some assistance would be most appreciated

  • Could you make a screenshot of the error and page you are seeing it?

its literally a blank page that says exactly: “A variable mismatch has been detected.”
I could take a screenshot but I don’t see how I’d get that back to you here, there doesn’t seem to be the option to attach anything but as I said, blank screen with that error message exactly as above

    Hi cath88,

I would love to help you out here but I do not have enough information.

Isn’t the error message longer? Does it mention an error line or script name? And where in the proces/configuration is this happening?

As I mentioned above, error message is exactly as I’ve provided and also as mentioned above the error happens at the end of the process of creating a new feed. Once again, if you are able to let me know how to provide the screenshot, I will be glad to do so

    Hi cath88,

Can you reach out to [email protected] and reference this topic? We will take it from there.

    Hello there,

I can provide a screenshot of this problem as I’m having the same issue:
Simple WordPress error page once you click “save” on the rule & filter page:

    Hi,

We are having an issue getting this issue reproduced as all is working fine on our environment. It seems related to the latest WordPress 5.01 release as the error is being reported for other plugins too.

Could you provide us with a full screenshot of the rule and filter page? As well as the full URL of that page (including the paramaters in the URL)?

    Thanks!

I haven’t upgraded to WordPress 5.01 so I doubt that is the issue. I am using WordPress 4.9.9

Strange…since what version of the plugin have you been getting this message than?

Apologies, it seems it was introduced in 4.99:

Cath88, are you also (only) getting this error just after the filter and rule page?

    Hello there,

Is this something I can fix right away, or do I have to wait & do something more?
Thanks for the quick help & clarification

Hi, I’m having the same problem creating new feeds. Also, on 4.9.9.

    Hi all,

We have just pushed out a new version of the plugin (4.0.1) that ‘could’ solve the issue at hand. Bear in mind, we cannot reproduce the issue at hand ourselves so it is a tough one to test and fix.

Could you give version 4.01 a try?

    Best,
    Eva

    Hi,

I just tested. The problem is still there.

    Sorry…
