A Waste of time

    After countless hours to get the PHP settings correct for subdomains, no matter what the SP do, the file DOES NOT UPLOAD via the plugin (the general answer in the comments is “there is something wrong with the server”). I get the feeling this is a known restriction to give us hassles and after a smooth FTP upload in no time, oops, you must buy for a restore. That is why I do not want to spend a cent on this plugin.

    This is not the first time I struggle to use the “FREE” version and for the past two days it was 16 hours completely wasted. As some say, NO TRANSPARENCY.

    Good luck to those who want to use a “FREE” version that will not work.

    our agency been using free version for years on always had great experience…
    either you don’t know what you are doing or you are unlucky.

    We had an old backup from 2017 this morning that we wanted to restore but got stuck on 98%
    Sent a mail through their website, got an answer straight away (less than 30min)
    after 5-6 exchange, the problem was identified and they helped me to fix it. Website live!

    a year ago I had a backup corrupted – they fixed it for me in less than 24hours.

    All this for the free version – I really don’t know which channel did you guys use to get support…

    Thanks for the reply. I hear what you say and somehow I was wrong except for the restore option that was removed from the FREE version. Not only me say it, but some of the influencers on YouTube too. The “limitation” I eventually got fixed – it was a server issue. For the restore option I still stand with a 1 star rating. It WAS a good product for small personal websites, but no more when the FREE option was removed.

    For my clients there is the cPanel backup and restore options – so I only need something from my local PC to the server and that I can do easily with the long method; it is schlep but safe and FREE. Tx
