Is there some html I can add to an image to exclude it form appearing in the slider on a page? I have some linked images on a page that I dont want to be pulled into the lightbox slider.

No, right now there is no way to do this. Not the visible images a relevant, but the link. All links which link to an image will be used, even if there is no visible image at all (also see https://wordpress-demo.arnowelzel.de/lightbox-with-photoswipe-external-images/ with an example). But for future updates I may add some property like data-lbwps-ignore what can be added to the link so it will not be used.

Sorry, that was a misunderstanding – there is already an option for that since it is usally not that simple to add additional attributes to a link element:

Ignore links to images which contain a hash (#)

So all you have to do is to enable that option and add a “#” to the image url. The URL will still work, but the image is then displayed in the browser and not in the lightbox.
