A website for introducing new plugins

    Hi

    I’m a wordpress developer and sometimes I create simple plugins for wordpress. But I have a serious problem: I want to introduce my plugins to other people, I don’t know a good forum or website to do this. Please guide me.

    I don’t know a webiste for introducing new plugins, but this is the URL of the list of all WordPress plugins ordered from newest to oldest:

    So, in order to spread the word about your plugins, I can recommend you the following:

    – Upload your new plugins to the www.ads-software.com repository with as much info as possible in the description, banner image, FAQ page, info how to install it…
    – Answer the questions of your plugin’s specific support forums, for people to see that it’s supporter or they can be helped
    – Publish one or two posts in your own website about your plugin, what it does, what it tried to solve, etc. with a link to its page in the repository.
    – Share the link in your social media, invite people you know to test it and to share their experience using it.
    – Join the closest WordPress Meetup group to your city, where you’ll be able to show your plugins to other WP enthusiasts and to learn from them new stuff as well. You can find the closest WP Meetup group to you here: https://www.meetup.com/pro/wordpress/
    – If there is not a Meetup group in your city and you’d like to start one to get in contact with more WP lovers, you can submit an application here: https://make.www.ads-software.com/community/handbook/meetup-organizer/getting-started/interest-form/

    I mean, there are sites like that but don’t promote your site here please. That’s not what these forums are for. If you want to promote such as site then do so elsewhere.

    Joomla has a great forum for all things are related to Joomla. I thought WordPress should has something like that. In Joomla forum, there is a section for information and feedback about extensions. You can introduce your new extensions in that section. I’m searching for something like that.

    Joomla has a great forum for all things are related to Joomla.

    There was a sub-forum for WordPress sites (not plugins) here.

    It was the most spammiest section of Heck that the Universe has ever seen. The stench of all that spam, all that trash, all that horrible, loathsome, disgusting, self-serving, shameless spam was more than enough.

    It was closed and hidden from the world. ??

    These are support forums and that’s all. Anyone who is using this site, https://www.ads-software.com/ for any sort of promotion is making a mistake. That includes articles about new plugins.

    There is nothing preventing anyone from making a site like that here. There are already a few. But don’t promote a site like that. There have been users here how embedded their links to that review site of theirs and they ended up being banned and a moderator wasted much time cleaning that all out.
