A Wicked Supa Smooth Ride Buddy

I had a staging site that had expired and I needed to take a local WP install to the fresh staging site. The staging site was a fork of a production website, the local dev site was its own monster entirely.

This plugin backed up the local WP install, I FTP’ed the file into the same folder on the staging site as it lives on the local site (/wp-content/ai1wm-backups/) and then I was able to quickly get the site copied to the staging site.

The only downside was that it overwrites the whole DB, that’s probably what you want, just be sure that’s what you want. IE: all settings, users, pages, posts, plugins, etc from backup become the settings, users, pages, posts, plugins for the target site.
