that certainly caused a lot grief. but disabling the AAM media manager worked for me too.

I’m experiencing the same problem…. BUT I don’t have the directory mentioned or ticks in the backend to disable…. the Media management feature is not installed…

worse still I’ve disabled the plugin and the links are still showing???

    any ideas anyone?

HI, I updated AAM plugin to v2.9.2, which broke all media file links. None of the suggestions made above applies to this version. Let me know how to fix it or roll back to the previous version.

This just started a few days ago on my website. I had NOT done the update to 2.9.2, so I’m perplexed as to how/why it got changed. I did uncheck the green check mark on the AAM/Extensions page as noted above and this did fix my problem. As a note, ALL the extensions had been enabled even though I had not purchased them.

I was hesitant to do the 2.9.2 update, but after backing everything up, went ahead and did it. Nothing changed on doing this update, the links are still working correctly. I checked the AAM/Extensions page after the update and now ALL the extensions are back to being unchecked as is correct for my site.

    Thank you @mahalakshmic, +1

Hi, I have the same problem here. Also, I have not purchased the extension which manages media. I updated and now all the images through the website are gone with “aam_media” link issue.

Please, help me. I do not have a folder named AAM Media Manager.

    Thanks!

Hi, this is a problem for us as well. Because you updated the plugin to not enable that extension but did not first disable the extension so now the extension is enabled but the file that controls it is not accessible. Please advise!

FYI – I even purchased the extension just to see if I could solve it that way :-). We had to go through all of our posts and pages and “update” the pictures so that they were no longer being looked for using the AAM media link.

Since, I have update de AAM to 2.9.2.
    Al my pictures are broken.

    See these link.

    What can we do?

News.. The new version change Woocommerce link

    wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings
    to
    wp-admin/wc-settings

    Breaking the link.. nice!
