AB Post Grid – Excerpt exceeds given value

    Hello!

    I am having trouble with Post Grid. I have set excerpt length, but some items exceed that value by quite a lot of words. (See screenshot here).

    Also, when I look into these problematic posts, AB Post Grid is not picking up the first paragraph. Rather, it’s picking up a paragraph way bellow the first one.

    What could be the problem? Is there a way I can edit posts so that Post Grid always displays requested excerpt length and gets text from the beginning of the post?

    @televizor is there something unique or special about that post? AB is just pulling the excerpt from the post content. Does it have a custom excerpt or any kind of custom field that overrides excerpts/content?

    Dear @mindctrl,

    Nothing is unique about these few posts that break the excerpt size limit. Since we couldn’t find what is causing this behavior, we disabled excerpts in Post Grid for now. Thank you for your effort.
