Abandon plugin – needs a fork?

  • This plugin seems abandoned, the current author ( blogplay.com ) seems to have changed to an SEO/Leads site.

    There are a few little things that need to be done to maintain this, notable a small tweak for https and also for PHP 7.

    With the author now not responding, is there a way to fork this other than a straight copy and republish as a new plugin?
