Abandoned

  • No support WHATSOEVER even for paid customers.
    No updates in sight. No response from the plugin author in his dedicated support forum for months. No reaction to tickets.
    Would strongly advice anyone who wants to install a caching plugin to use something else. There is no guarantee that security issues will be fixed or that an update will ever arrive.
    Stay away – especially from the paid version.
    (look at their site and into their forums if you think I’m being to harsh)

    And the plugin works great, without any problems at all. Actually Comet Cache is the only caching plugin that everybody should trust.

    Now if problems appear in the future and remain unsolved, then this is an other matter.

    Finally you mention Paid two times, i remind you (but you already know it) this is the Lite Free version and Paid plugins review or whatever should not be placed here.

    There is no place to have paid support! There is no paid support at all.
    Infact if you go to the https://cometcache.com/support/# you won’t have any support.

    @seventhose BUT we don’t CARE about anything paid here. We are using the Free Lite version and everything related to “paid” is not actually permited in www.ads-software.com plugins.

    I don’t care of your careless… just check every online profile of the developer… he seems to be gone! Check his twitter profile, his blog, his support forum here on wordpress… He just disappeard… No support whatsoever! No support for every everyone!

    p.s. the dev is the same of free or paid version…

    Please, switch to an other caching plugin and stop abusing the reviews area.

    Ok, my apologies then…

    But I just wanted to remark the frustration of the user who first wrote the post.
    Mine wasn’t a value judgement about the plugin.

    I have to apologize, I made a mistake… sorry for what I said, I found it’s not true.

    @seventhose, @massimod, No rule has been broken.

    The plugin upsells its pro version with mentions to features over 20 times on the free plugin description. Now that means users are welcome to review those features and any pro service that has been advertised on www.ads-software.com.

    Alternatively, the plugin author needs to stop advertising commercial products on www.ads-software.com.
