    Hello,

We currently have an abanonded cart plugin, which is great, but were are looking for some more features and struggling to find a plugin that does what we are looking for.

Im guessing we will need 2 separate plugins – 1 for abandoned carts, and 2 – request postage charge

Our orders are set to abandon if a customer is trying to checkout from an offshore island so they need to request a postage price from us. At the moment, we see the abandoned order and have to give them a quote mannualy via email or phone, and then take the payment mannualy too. Ideally we would like a system where we can enter the postage price for these orders, and then send it to the customer so if they accept, can then checkout online.

We also want a standard abandoned cart feature, that shows us the customers name, address, and contact details along with what they are trying to order, and to send automated emails to them. If they cannot pay online for whatever reason, or a customer choosed to pay over the phone which is a common question, there is no way to simply mark the abanonded order as paid. We have to make a new order. This is a little frustrating as all the details are already there.

Please can somone recommend some plugins which they think would work for us?

I am struggling the most with the abanoned cart one as I haven’t found one where you can manually mark it as paid!

  • Hi there @charlotteb22

Thank you for reaching out about this. As I understand, you are not fully satisfied with how the abandoned cart functionality is implemented at your store.

Feel free to check out the AutomateWoo extension. Using the powerful, feature-rich automations available within AutomateWoo you can create a near endless range of automated workflows that will help you grow your store with a fraction of the effort! Its documentation, linked here, includes examples and more.

Could you clarify on how that functionality is implemented so far, please?

To help you further, I’d like to understand more about your setup.

Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Once you’ve done that, you can paste the text in https://gist.github.com/, or https://pastebin.com/, and feel free to change/remove your site URL in the report for privacy reasons.

You can paste the Gist/Pastebin link here in your reply, once you have that.

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know. We’re happy to help.
