I’ve been searching for a media library plugin and got excited about this one due to its unobtrusive UI and inexpensive premium license.

However, I see https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/an-update-from-emls-author/ from 7 months ago is pinned to the support forum, saying you’ll be back in a few days.

I see recent plugin updates, which is great, but I’m concerned about the lack of any replies in the support forum.

If the 7 month old post is no longer relevant, I’d suggest un-pinning and replying to topics posted here within a timely manner. If your support policy is that this plugin doesn’t receive support from its author but the forum is available for users to help each other, please pin that sort of message so we at least know what to expect.

    tyvm.

  • There was a gap because, ya know, stuff happens, but the author is back, responding to and resolving support requests. There are a couple of recent very specific requests (not working with a single theme that doesn’t play well with lots of things and one special request about using the taxonomies from EML for something else) but other than those, support for this is the same or better than the other plugins on here.

I panicked because there’s nothing else that does what this plugin does. It cuts dev time on an image-intensive site by many, many hours, days, weeks.

    Hi guys,

I am still here, and the plugin is supported, no worries. All support threads for the last month will be responded to in a few days. The update is coming as well.

I appreciate the quick response and am glad I found it as things are getting back up and going.

I purchased this plugin’s upgrade as well as https://devowl.io/wordpress-real-physical-media/ and will see how the two compare.

The latter for physically relocating an existing site’s many images out of year-month based folders and for SEO purposes.
