Abandoned plugins in email alert

If you have “Scan for out of date, abandoned, and vulnerable plugins, themes, and WordPress versions” option enabled under (Wordfence > Scan > Scan Options and Scheduling > General Options) and “Alert on warnings” option enabled under (Wordfence > Dashboard > Global Options > Alert Preferences) then you should receive an email alert when there is an abandoned plugin installed on your site.

I do have all of those settings (I double checked), and the email still does not mention the abandoned plugins.

Which abandoned plugins you have installed on your site and expect them to be in the email alert? also, do you get any reference to these plugins in the recent scan result?

For example, the plugin: WordPress Category Archive is abandoned. I can see that in the scan results on my dashboard, but this does not get output to the email alert.

I’m following up here and I want to ask if you mean the weekly (or daily/monthly) activity report emails? if that’s what you mean, then we will log this one as a feature request since we don’t include abandoned plugins alerts in these emails for now.

If you mean these emails that are being sent after a scan is finished, then you should know that they will only be sent for new issues that haven’t been reported before, I mean if you miss the first time the issue appears, it never is sent by email again.

I meant the emails sent after a scan. I guess I must have missed the first one. It would be helpful if it was always included in the email, as it can be easy to miss one when you are managing multiple sites. Is there any chance this will be changed in future updates of Wordfence?
