Can you please confirm that you are talking about the “Hold Stock(minutes)” time of the WooCommerce setting which is located at WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory page > Hold Stock (minutes)?

If yes, then I would like to let you know that when hold stock time is reached for the order, WooCommerce will automatically change the status to “Cancelled”. Can you please confirm on it?

Also, I would like to let you know we are considering the “Pending” order status as abandoned in one scenario(Case-b). The case is described below:
1) Before any abandoned cart reminder email sent to the customer:
If the guest user has tried to pay the order before any of the abandoned cart reminder emails are sent to the customer then the same abandoned cart will be deleted and no longer consider as abandoned irrespective of the order status of that order.
2) Guest or logged in user have Abandoned cart and closed the browser.
Let’s consider that the Customer “A” ( Guest User) has abandoned the cart from the firefox. He left the site and closed the browser.
Now before any abandoned cart reminder email is sent to him, Customer “A” comes back to your site and placed the order using same email address from the same browser or mobile.
Then if the order status is “Pending” for the same order then we do consider that cart as abandoned. And for that cart, we send the abandoned cart reminder emails.
Also please note that if the order status of the WooCommerce is “Pending” or “Failed” then only the abandoned cart reminder email will be sent. And for other WooCommerce order status, we do not send the abandoned cart reminder emails.
