Ability to assign gift message field

    Hi there,

    We were wondering whether it might be possible to push gift message data onto Shipstation? I don’t think this is a default field in WooCommerce but we’ve got this setup as a meta field for our orders. So was wondering whether it was possible to map the ‘meta_key’ to the gift field in the Shipstation API.

    Maybe this is possible with a hook or similar?

    Hi there Dean,

    There are some filter hooks available for exporting custom order field data to ShipStation, as described in the section of the documentation here:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/shipstation-for-woocommerce/#section-5

    Checking the plugin code, it doesn’t look like there is anything available for pushing it specifically to the “gift” field in ShipStation — only those “custom” fields.

    Hi Joey, I’m waiting to hear back from our client so unfortunately I cannot confirm at this stage whether this has worked or not. I’ll update the thread when I can!
